Achieving Resilience During the COVID19 Crisis: BDP Shares their Splashtop Story

BDP, the international architecture and design firm, needed a fast way to enable 1,350 employees across 16 global locations to work remotely when COVID-19 disrupted office operations. The company faced challenges with hardware availability, maintaining a stable infrastructure, and supporting more than 400 software titles, including Revit, which did not perform well over standard remote setups. BDP turned to Splashtop Business Access to solve the problem.

With Splashtop, BDP could let employees access their office workstations remotely without installing all applications locally on laptops. BDP tested 100 licenses, then expanded to 600, deploying the Splashtop receiver across machines and rolling out simple user guidance and IT support. The result was a smooth transition to remote work in just 48 hours, with enterprise-level management and multi-factor authentication supporting full deployment across locations in Toronto, the UK, MENA, India, and China.
