A Spireon Case Study
Eggelton Trucking, a family-owned Southern California hauler of mulch, compost, and green waste, struggled to keep track of trucks, drivers, and ETAs across its eight-truck fleet. Before using Spireon, dispatching was largely manual and based on drivers self-reporting their locations, which made it hard to avoid delays, meet tight loading windows, and keep customer commitments.
Spireon implemented FleetLocate GPS vehicle tracking to give Eggelton real-time fleet visibility via desktop and mobile access, along with alerts and location-based dispatching. With Spireon’s solution, Eggelton increased productivity by 3 to 4 loads per week, generated an estimated $76,800 in incremental annual revenue, and achieved a 27:1 ROI, while also improving customer service and meeting a key service-level agreement at 100%.
