Spirent Landslide 5G Test Platform Powers Korean Operator’s NSA/SA Expansion

A leading 5G network company in South Korea needed to expand its network infrastructure but found its current test suite was unable to verify the performance and stability of new 5G NSA and SA systems, particularly at the required 200 Gbps throughput. This impeded their ability to deploy a competitive network and complete a proof of concept. Spirent Communications' partner, ERK Solution Co., proposed the Spirent Landslide 5G Core Network Testing platform to meet this challenge.

The Spirent Landslide platform was implemented to create a high-performance test environment, enabling the successful 200 Gbps proof of concept that led to the operator adopting the NSA solution. The solution was highly capable and cost-effective, allowing testing to be completed much faster than before. As a direct result of this success, the operator selected the solution and is now using Spirent Landslide for testing its forthcoming 5G SA deployment.
