A major financial regulator faced the challenge of validating the security and performance of a new DMZ network architecture during a data centre upgrade. They needed to test the system with both stateful and stateless traffic and understand the impact on two networks operating at different throughputs. To meet this challenge, the regulator's system integrator engaged Spirent Communications and utilized its Spirent TestCenter and Spirent Avalanche systems.

Spirent designed and executed a rigorous testing process, including baseline, benchmarking, soak, and high-availability tests.
