Case Study: Tsinghua University accelerates multi-system receiver development with Spirent's GSS9000 GNSS simulator

Developing next-generation receivers with Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University, a major research university in Beijing, needed to generate accurate signals in a lab environment to develop new BeiDou BDS-3 satellite navigation receivers. To tackle this challenge, they worked with Spirent Communications.

Spirent provided its GSS9000 GNSS simulator, which delivered the first full BDS-3 constellation for testing, including new signals like B1C and B2a. This solution from Spirent accelerated the university's receiver development, enabling them to achieve their research ambitions ahead of competitors and apply the new multi-system technology in many products.
