TTEK, a provider of state-of-the-art software and border management solutions, needed accurate, reliable flight data and modern APIs to give government clients a standardized common operational picture across teams and jurisdictions. Because unreliable data sources or inflexible APIs can cause service failures and technical debt, TTEK turned to Spire—using Spire Aviation’s flight‑tracking ADS‑B data and flexible APIs—to meet its aviation data requirements.

TTEK integrated Spire Aviation data into its RiskLab Aircraft Targeting System (ATS) and linked ATS to the RiskLab Passenger Targeting System (PTS). Spire supplies aircraft tracking details (type, flight number, routing, departure/arrival times) and easy-to-use APIs, enabling AOR map views, ranked inbound flights, color‑coded passenger risk scores, analyst dashboards, and mobile handoffs to field officers. By leveraging Spire, TTEK delivers clearer visibility into the aviation risk landscape, standardized visualizations for decision support, and faster prioritized triage of high‑risk flights and passengers.
