Staq, a B2B embedded finance platform operating in the Middle East, faced the challenge of integrating multi-agent AI into durable, fault-tolerant workflows for a new autonomous banking application. Spiral Scout restructured the project into a phased approach, beginning with a 4-week architecture sprint to design a Temporal-centric orchestration model, agent lifecycle, and zero-trust isolation patterns. Their solution included an artifact layer to protect PII, execution guards to control costs, and a strategy leveraging the open-core Wippy platform to avoid vendor lock-in. This provided Staq with a validated architectural north star, tangible design frameworks, and the knowledge to build new agents independently, de-risking integration and preventing months of potential rework.
