A SpinetiX Case Study
The Committee for Education in St. Petersburg sought to modernize communication across the city's schools, aiming to better engage digital-native students, teachers, and parents. Their challenge was to provide a multifunctional, always-on communication channel for information and emergency alerts while promoting student involvement and reducing paper waste. They turned to vendor SpinetiX to implement a digital signage solution.
SpinetiX addressed the challenge with a robust network of over 400 "InfoZones" powered by their HMP media players and managed through Elementi software. This centralized yet flexible system allowed for easy content creation and scheduling across 17 city districts. The results established a new standard for educational communication, fostering student creativity through content contribution and winning multiple awards for innovation. The SpinetiX solution proved highly reliable, with some original players still operating 24/7 after more than six years.
