Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua (Perodua), a major Malaysian automobile manufacturer and the country's second national car maker, needed a digital signage solution to display real-time production data in its adverse factory conditions. Their challenge was to reliably show cycle times, quantities, and capacity forecasts pulled from a process management server. They selected SpinetiX and its HMP100 player for this task.
SpinetiX provided a solution with its fan-less, non-mechanical HMP100 device, which was ideal for the factory environment and allowed for simple, flexible content management. This enabled Perodua's production team to be constantly informed of the status and capacity, allowing for immediate adjustments if production fell below expectations, thereby optimizing their manufacturing operations.
