A Spider AF Case Study

Preview of the Aoyama Clothing Case Study

Losing $7,000 in 13 days No excuses not to use Spider AF

Aoyama Clothing, one of Japan’s largest apparel retailers, faced significant ad fraud and brand risk after accelerating its digital transformation—suffering billing bots and thousands of invalid web accesses that were hard to quantify. In a Spider AF demo the team found 10,577 instances of invalid access and an estimated $7,000 in damages, which prompted them to adopt Spider AF to visualize and address the problem.

Spider AF implemented monitoring and protection for Aoyama Clothing’s digital campaigns and provided a dashboard for ongoing visibility; protected Google Ads saw invalid access rates fall sharply and the invalid placement rate dropped from 2.07% to 0.72% (about a 65% reduction). As a result, Aoyama Clothing reported reduced wasteful ad spend, improved CPA and stronger brand safety thanks to Spider AF’s detection and prevention capabilities.
