Santex SpA, an Italian medical-device manufacturer, needed to improve energy performance and reduce the environmental impact of its products while achieving ISO 50001 and ISO 14040/14044 compliance and greater independence in EPD/LCA work. To meet these goals Santex engaged Sphera, which delivered an EPD Creator Tool and automated workflows integrated with GaBi and GaBi Envision to streamline EPD and LCA generation.
