OneSafety at UPM From Identification of Risks to Practical Measures

UPM, a global manufacturer operating in 12 countries, faced fragmented safety systems and inconsistent reporting that threatened compliance with its Safety Standards and its goal of zero fatal and serious accidents. The SpheraCloud deployment harmonized safety and environmental processes, cut manual work, and delivered real-time KPI visibility and data visualization for better decisions—recording 47,000 safety-related near-miss and observation reports in 2020—demonstrating measurable adoption and improved safety oversight under Sphera.
