OLYMP Bezner, a leading producer of shirts, knitwear and accessories, needed to meet its GREEN CHOICE sustainability targets by 2025 and reduce the environmental impact of its packaging (including switching shirt bags from virgin PP to 100% recycled LDPE). To calculate impacts, identify an easy-to-use LCA tool, and obtain external verification for transparent communication, OLYMP Bezner engaged Sphera and its LCA for Packaging (formerly the GaBi Packaging Calculator).

Sphera provided the LCA for Packaging tool plus sustainability consulting and training, and supported OLYMP Bezner through a Dekra-audited verification of input data. Using Sphera’s solution, OLYMP Bezner gained automated result reports, up-to-date emission factors, and DEKRA-verified environmental claims, enabling reliable, transparent communication and material changes that delivered significant reductions in packaging-related environmental impacts.
