To address these challenges, Covestro partnered with Sphera to implement PHA documentation software, including Sphera’s Advanced Risk Assessment (ARA) solution and migration to the SpheraCloud™ SaaS platform.

Sphera migrated ten years of Covestro’s Stature Risk Management data to SpheraCloud™ and deployed ARA globally (go‑live mid‑2021), making PHA documentation mandatory at every Covestro plant. The Sphera solution created a single, cloud‑based information hub, improved transparency and global access to safety studies, delivered licensor‑operated IT security, and supported Covestro’s goal of safer, more reliable operations.
