Enginetics Aerospace Boosts Safety Data Management to Earn ISO 14001 Certification and Lower Operating Costs

Enginetics Aerospace Corporation, an Ohio-based supplier of complex metal-formed components to commercial and defense aerospace customers, needed to assure global compliance (ISO 14001, REACH, GHS, EPCRA Tier II), improve worker safety, and reduce operating costs while scattered, paper-based Safety Data Sheets made hazard information and reporting slow and error-prone. Sphera implemented DolphinRTK to automate SDS management, chemical reporting and right-to-know workflows, enabling fast searches, regulatory grouping and exportable impact lists. The Sphera solution cut SDS lookup time from ~15 minutes to under 30 seconds, reduced Tier II reporting from weeks or months to one day, supported Enginetics’ ISO 14001 certification, expanded market access, lowered incident-related costs, and improved material-selection decisions and worker safety.
