Stiferite, Italy’s leading polyiso foam thermal insulation manufacturer, needed to obtain Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) quickly and autonomously to respond to bid specifications, participate in public tenders, and support building certification requirements. To achieve this, Stiferite engaged Sphera and adopted Sphera’s automated EPD Creator along with GaBi tools and databases and expert consulting support.

Sphera delivered the EPD Creator plus GaBi ts/GaBi Envision and database-backed LCA workflows and advisory services, enabling Stiferite to generate LCA studies and certified EPDs across its product range without deep in‑house LCA expertise. As a result, Stiferite now produces EPDs rapidly and independently, significantly reduced EPD development costs, identified improvement hotspots, expanded opportunities in public bids and building projects, improved market positioning through transparent environmental declarations, and increased profit from tender participation.
