Alcoa Extends Global Sustainability Leadership with EHS Solution

Alcoa, a global leader in primary and fabricated aluminum, needed to better integrate sustainability with its business strategy to deliver financial success, environmental excellence and social responsibility while ensuring compliance with complex regulations and continuously improving operational processes. Using Sphera Essential Suite® and CyberRegs®, Alcoa manages 1,200+ permits (2,500+ rules, 225,000+ requirement citations), tracked 20,000+ tasks in 2012 with over 85% case-task on-time completion, consolidated legacy systems to reduce costs, and publishes real-time EHS metrics for reporting and decision-making.
