Counto, a virtual CFO and accounting services firm in Singapore, used Spenmo to address the manual, time-consuming, and error-prone payment workflows its clients faced when managing large volumes of payables. As Counto scaled, its team also struggled with juggling multiple banking and payment platforms, rising processing costs, and the risks of commingled personal and business expenses.

By integrating CountoPay with Spenmo’s payments API and using Spenmo’s expense management tools, Counto automated bill payments, centralized workflows, and gave clients access to Smart Corporate Cards. The results were significant: payment processing time dropped from about 30 minutes to 5 minutes, invoice payments could be handled through one platform at lower local and overseas transfer rates, and real-time status updates improved client experience and engagement.
