How Tier Mobility streamlined employee spending with Spendesk

TIER, Europe’s leading shared micromobility provider, struggled with fragmented expense processes across three entities and hundreds of employees—no standardized system, manual Excel workflows, and difficulty paying suppliers on the road. To solve this, TIER implemented Spendesk’s spend management platform, using virtual cards, personalized physical Spendesk Mastercards and centralized controls to manage online purchases and software subscriptions.

With Spendesk, TIER automated expense reimbursements, issued about 80 physical Spendesk Mastercards for operations, and created easy-to-generate virtual cards for recurring subscriptions, giving the finance team a single dashboard and clear entity separation. The result: 100% visibility on spend, faster supplier payments, improved compliance and streamlined accounting workflows, with further automation planned via a Spendesk-to-NetSuite API.
