Republic of Work, a coworking space based in Cork City, faced the challenge of managing remote building access for their new location in Clonmel. They needed an automated solution to control door access and manage client passes. Speire was engaged to develop a custom solution to address this need.

Speire developed a bespoke mobile app for iOS and Android that allowed registered clients to gain entry by scanning a QR code. To integrate multiple software packages and the third-party security hardware, Speire built a smart orchestrator that acted as a middleman. This system verified access permissions, deducted passes upon entry, and synchronized data across Republic of Work's databases, ensuring only clients with valid passes could enter. The solution provided a simple, secure user experience from a complex technical integration.
