The customer, Cisco, a global enterprise with 71,000 employees, faced significant challenges in scaling its experimentation program across its numerous departments and worldwide locations. To address this, they partnered with the vendor Speero to conduct an Experimentation Maturity Audit, which would help them benchmark their current capabilities and identify the major obstacles to growth.

Speero performed a detailed audit by interviewing stakeholders to assess Cisco's experimentation maturity. This process identified critical gaps and bottlenecks, allowing Speero to provide a clear scaling roadmap. As a result, Cisco was equipped to implement a global federated Centre of Excellence (CoE) structure, successfully meeting its internal directive to double its testing output and establish a formal experimentation process.
