Nokia chooses Spectro Cloud to power warehouse edge computing

Nokia, a telecommunications and technology company, sought to scale its Autonomous Inventory Monitoring Service (AIMS), an AI-powered drone system for warehouse inventory. The challenge was managing the complex Kubernetes-based software stack powering the solution, which required slow, manual provisioning and operations on bare metal edge servers deployed at each customer site.

Spectro Cloud implemented its Palette Edge platform to automate and manage the full Kubernetes lifecycle for Nokia's AIMS solution. This allowed Nokia to consistently deploy and centrally manage its software stack at scale, even in airgapped warehouse environments. As a result, Spectro Cloud helped reduce server provisioning time from one day to one hour, significantly improving operational efficiency and enabling faster customer onboarding for the AIMS product.
