L’Occitane Group extends Spectralink wireless solution to new buildings and increases Employee Productivity

L’Occitane, the global natural‑ingredients cosmetics and retail group, needed to extend its existing SpectraLink DECT mobility solution from its main production site to several new buildings and large warehouses while ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Skype for Business. After expanding facilities and merging production units into Laboratoires M&L, the Group faced integration challenges with its unified communications platform and sought a scalable wireless telephony solution that maintained voice quality across large sites.

SpectraLink deployed a solution including 114 IP‑DECT base stations, four wireless servers, two media resource cards and multiple DECT handsets (serving about 200 warehouse users) with seamless Microsoft Skype for Business integration. The SpectraLink rollout eliminated dropped calls and extended reliable coverage across buildings, increased employee productivity, lowered costs, and made it easy to scale—enabling L’Occitane to add another ~100 DECT handsets to other sites.
