Preview of the L’Occitane Case Study

L’Occitane extends SpectraLink to 2 new sites and 200 employees with 114 DECT base stations

L’Occitane Group, a global cosmetics manufacturer, faced a challenge when expanding its production and warehouse facilities in Manosque, France. The company needed to extend its wireless communications to new, large buildings and ensure the solution was compatible with its Microsoft Skype for Business unified communications platform. They turned to vendor SpectraLink for a wireless solution to maintain connectivity across their growing campus.

The SpectraLink solution deployed included over 100 IP-DECT base stations, wireless servers, and DECT handsets, all seamlessly integrated with Skype for Business. This provided employees with uninterrupted call connectivity and mobility across the vast warehouse spaces, which significantly increased productivity. The scalable SpectraLink system also lowered costs and is planned for deployment to other company sites.
