Case Study: La Française Group achieves improved employee productivity and in‑building mobility with Spectralink DECT integrated with Microsoft Lync

A SpectraLink Case Study

Preview of the La Française Group Case Study

La Française Group Improves Employee Productivity and Mobility at Work

La Française Group, an asset manager with $37 billion in assets and 450 staff across Europe, needed to migrate to Microsoft Lync while preserving rich in‑building mobile telephony (voicemail, call transfer, conferencing, short dials, call pick‑up) and full coverage across its 12‑story Paris building. To meet those requirements they worked with SpectraLink (via distributor Tiptel) to evaluate a SpectraLink DECT wireless solution compatible with Microsoft Lync.

SpectraLink deployed an integrated DECT solution—235 SpectraLink Butterfly handsets, 46 IP‑DECT base stations, 10 media resources (supporting up to 100 simultaneous calls) and a redundant wireless server—after a four‑month project that included a building coverage audit and user training. The SpectraLink implementation restored mobility with no dropped calls, saved employee time, kept mobility costs stable, and even generated new Microsoft Lync leads for La Française Group.
