Langan uses Specto Technology for 7–10 month real-time perimeter air monitoring

Langan, a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, faced the challenge of controlling environmental impacts during a complex waterfront bulkhead stabilization project in Queens, NY. The project required continuous perimeter air monitoring to track pollutants from the work on the deteriorated structure. To meet this challenge, Langan engaged Specto Technology to utilize Aeroqual AQS 1 air monitoring systems.

Specto Technology implemented a solution using two Aeroqual AQS 1 monitors to provide real-time measurement of VOCs and PM10 at both upwind and downwind locations. The data was managed with Aeroqual OneView software, which automated the generation of daily compliance reports for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This allowed Langan to efficiently monitor site contribution, streamline reporting, and successfully execute their monitoring plan for the duration of the 7-10 month project.
