A Specright Case Study
Corteva Agriscience, a global agriculture and seed company and spinoff from DowDuPont, faced fragmented packaging specification and regulatory compliance data for dangerous goods spread across emails, internal files, SharePoint and SAP (which lacked fields for UN certifications and testing). This made it hard to hold suppliers accountable, track where products were in the supply chain, and manage label and artwork requirements across countries.
By implementing Specright’s Specification Management Platform, Corteva digitized and standardized hundreds of regulatory and compliance specs into a single source of truth, automated test reminders, and linked packaging components to compliance data. Specright enabled SKU and pallet rationalization (reducing North American pallets from 77 to 19), eliminated large numbers of unused specs, improved label/artwork visibility, and delivered significant cost savings and faster, more reliable compliance management.
