A Speckle Case Study
Henning Larsen, an international architectural practice, faced challenges with multidisciplinary collaboration on their Fælledby project due to disciplinary and software silos, as well as inefficient, file-based data exchange. They adopted Speckle, an open-source collaborative platform, to serve as a central hub for their design data and facilitate better information flow.
Using Speckle enabled low-friction collaboration, allowing teams to share curated data, perform partial hand-offs, and even hot-swap between different software tools without the usual overhead. This solution from Speckle created a more cohesive and coordinated design process, giving teams the confidence to iterate rapidly and dynamically orchestrate their work across different regions and software proficiencies, ultimately contributing to the delivery of their innovative, sustainable timber neighborhood.
