YETI partnered with industrial design and product engineering firm Speck Design to evolve its Rambler Half Gallon and Gallon Jugs. The challenge was to elevate the product's feel, function, and pour performance while preserving its renowned rugged and overbuilt design language.

Speck Design approached the project holistically, refining the jug's proportions, grip zones, and cap architecture to improve handling and reduce the opening torque. Through rapid prototyping and user research, they reengineered the sealing system for a smoother pour and engineered the solution for scalable manufacturing. The vendor delivered a cohesive redesign that strengthened performance and enhanced usability, resulting in a more refined user experience that reinforced YETI's brand promise.
