How Pitch uses Specify to sync icons from design to code

The customer, Pitch, a collaborative presentation software company, faced challenges managing its extensive library of 680 icons across six products. Manually syncing these design assets from Figma to code was a slow, error-prone process that required coordination between multiple people and risked creating inconsistencies and debt in their codebase. The vendor, Specify, was identified as a solution to automate these design workflows.

By implementing Specify, Pitch automated its design-to-code synchronization. The solution automatically collected icons from Figma, stored them in a single source of truth, and triggered pull requests in GitHub for every change. This design CI/CD pipeline from Specify drastically reduced manual work, decreased errors, increased UI consistency, and enabled the team to release new features faster with confidence.
