St. Petersburg College replaces manual HR processes with SpearMC for 12 personnel action requests

St. Petersburg College (SPC) was running its PeopleSoft systems on-premises and sought to modernize its infrastructure and applications. The college partnered with SpearMC to assist with a migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and to transform its HR processes, which relied on a manual, in-house developed system for personnel actions.

SpearMC implemented a solution using PeopleSoft's Guided Self-Service (GSS) for Managers, extended with configuration frameworks like Fluid Drop Zones and Page Composer. This provided a streamlined workflow for personnel action requests and approvals. As a result, SpearMC helped SPC completely replace its standalone system, consolidating HR processes within PeopleSoft and improving operational efficiency. The project successfully went live in March 2021.
