Hackensack Meridian Health automates 65% of PTF tests with SpearMC

Hackensack Meridian Health faced the challenge of standardizing and expanding its PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) footprint across its network of hospitals and care facilities while managing an aggressive rollout schedule and the need to apply frequent PUM updates. To overcome limited testing resources, accuracy issues, and manual processes that discouraged updates, HMH partnered with vendor SpearMC to implement an automated testing solution.

SpearMC implemented an automated testing solution using the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) for six FSCM modules. This automated standard business processes, reducing testing time and cross-module dependencies. The solution from SpearMC achieved significant results, including automating 65% of tests with 244 individual automated tests and 30 end-to-end shell tests, which enabled faster PUM adoption and supported the successful, rapid deployment of PeopleSoft to multiple facilities.
