Kinepolis Improves Internal Communication & Connection With Employees via Speakap

Kinepolis, a Belgian cinema chain with about 1,800 employees, faced a challenge improving internal communication across a workforce where around 70% work in cinemas with limited access to computers. The head office needed a better way to stay connected with frontline staff and gain more visibility into daily operations across its cinema locations. Speakap was chosen to help address this communication gap.

Speakap implemented a branded employee app called KineTalks, giving Kinepolis a communication platform tailored to its workforce and enabling more direct interaction with staff. The solution was quickly adopted, integrated smoothly into daily work, and helped Kinepolis reach employees without corporate email addresses, including interim and floor staff. Speakap also opened the door for future HR module integrations to further improve communication and engagement.
