How the Barcelona-based Grupo Claror connected its 1,000-strong workforce to deliver increased employee and customer satisfaction

Grupo Claror, a non-profit operator of nine health, sports and leisure clubs around Barcelona with about 1,000 employees (roughly 80% non-desk), struggled to reach front-line staff who had little or no access to company email. With club managers, instructors, lifeguards and receptionists dispersed across sites, Claror needed a mobile internal-communications tool to close the information gap and deliver consistent updates and operational direction.

Grupo Claror selected the Speakap platform and rolled out its mobile app to mirror both vertical (role-based) and horizontal (location-based) hierarchies so messages, feedback and campaigns could be targeted without spamming other teams. Speakap’s deployment improved day-to-day coordination and engagement—managers use it for shift coordination, employees receive promotions and updates, and usage metrics show an average of 6 log-ins per employee per day with 75% of the workforce active.
