Nexeye, Europe’s leading optical retailer behind the brands Hans Anders, eyes + more, and Direkt Optik, needed a better way to communicate with and engage 4,000 frontline employees across three brands and five countries. The company wanted to connect store teams with head office, increase the reach and accessibility of company news, and create a more unified employee experience. Speakap’s employee communication app was used to help solve this challenge.

With Speakap, Nexeye created a central employee communications and engagement hub where frontline staff could access company news, share achievements, and connect in their own language. The solution helped Nexeye surface feedback from the frontline, stay agile in retail operations, and turn the app into “the place” for employees to find, learn from, and inspire one another. While no hard KPI was provided, Speakap helped Nexeye improve internal reach, accessibility, and cross-country collaboration across 700+ stores.
