Spanish Football Club, one of the most successful football clubs in Spanish history, needed a better way to handle FP&A. Their monthly forecasts and budgets were being managed in Excel and then transferred manually into PeopleSoft, making scenario planning slow, costly, and prone to extra manual work. Spaulding Ridge was brought in to streamline the process using Oracle EPM Cloud, specifically Oracle PBCS.

Spaulding Ridge implemented an integrated, bi-directional solution connecting Oracle PBCS with PeopleSoft so data could move both ways. The new setup automatically generates initial forecasts from actual and historical data, lets users copy and adjust versions easily, and supports multiple forecast scenarios. As a result, Spanish Football Club now has a faster, more accurate, and more agile planning process, with reduced effort and better data consistency across systems.
