Case Study: IC3Ddose creates engaging virtual poster sessions and conferences with SpatialChat

IC3Ddose needed a way to transform its intimate, multi-day in-person conferences into a virtual format. The challenge was to replicate the interactive and social aspects of a live event, specifically the networking opportunities and poster sessions that are central to its meetings. To address this, they turned to the platform SpatialChat.

The solution implemented by SpatialChat allowed attendees to move freely through a virtual space and engage in small group discussions, which successfully mimicked the feel of a live conference. The vendor exhibit hall and poster session were particularly well-received, garnering very positive feedback from both attendees and commercial vendors. This successful virtual event, which hosted about 100 attendees, was later copied by a major conference in Canada.
