Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning (formerly DELWP) needed to redevelop its public-facing Groundwater Resource Reporting Tool to assist landowners in legally accessing groundwater. The challenge was to move the tool into the department's enterprise MapShare environment to improve maintenance and ensure the complex aquifer data could be processed to generate high-quality reports quickly.

Spatial Vision redeveloped the solution using ArcGIS Enterprise and advanced Geocortex Essentials scripting. They created an automated geo-process to transform large aquifer datasets into a highly efficient structure, enabling reports to be generated in less than a second. This provided users with fast, clear access to crucial aquifer information and ensured the tool is easier for the department to maintain and support.
