North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA) faced challenges in gathering wildlife data through inefficient verbal reports and costly expert surveys. Spatial Vision created an intuitive, cross-platform app that works robustly offline, allowing users to easily record wildlife sightings with photos and audio. This solution enabled the NCCMA to significantly increase data collection for researchers and land managers while providing the public with an engaging educational resource. The crowdsourced data represents a dramatically cheaper alternative to expert-led surveys.
