LK Metrology future-proofs CAMIO with Spatial and 2.1-micron precision

LK Metrology, a manufacturer of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and creator of the CAMIO software application, sought to future-proof their product and enhance its robustness. Their challenge was to improve core application functionality, specifically by expanding capabilities for precise Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and Model-Based Definition (MBD) to extend the lifespan of their software.

Partnering with Spatial Corp, LK Metrology utilized the 3D ACIS Modeler, 3D InterOp, and HOOPS Visualize SDKs and engaged in Spatial's Assessment Program. This development partnership provided expert code review and helped integrate advanced PMI/MBD reading and processing technology. As a result, Spatial helped LK Metrology create more robust code, automate large sections of measurement programming, and significantly enhance their CAMIO application's interoperability and precision for end-users.
