CEDRAT Group, known for its FLUX finite element analysis software for electromagnetic and thermal simulation, needed a higher level of interoperability to improve end-user experience, speed model handling, reduce time to market, and support simulation across more physical domains. Spatial Corp implemented InterOp translators within FLUX for CATIA V4 and V5, PRO/E, Inventor, STEP, and IGES, adding advanced import, healing, assembly management, and stitching capabilities in just a few months. The solution enabled Cedrat to deliver widely used and validated import tools, keep pace with evolving file formats through ongoing translator updates, and let the company focus on core physics development. As a result, Spatial Corp helped Cedrat increase flexibility and performance in FLUX, expand appeal to new markets, and deliver greater value to customers.
