Working with Sparx Systems’ Enterprise Architect through Canonic, the company wanted better traceability from requirements to code, a central repository for project artifacts, and a more model-driven way to manage its development work.

Sparx Systems’ Enterprise Architect helped IBS Interprit move from a document-centric approach to a model-centric one, using a database-backed UML repository to connect requirements, use cases, design, and code. The result was better collaboration, stronger IP protection, improved outsourcing control, and significant productivity gains, including one effort cut from several months to 10 days through code generation. Sparx Systems was also credited with enabling IBS Interprit to use EA as the backbone of an enterprise-wide information platform.
