ISP Achieves Integrated Quality Management with TrackWise

International Specialty Products (ISP Technologies) is a global specialty chemical manufacturer serving more than 6,000 customers in over 90 countries. Facing resource‑intensive, paper‑based quality processes that hindered its goal of running lean operations and meeting cGMP expectations, ISP needed a flexible, configurable electronic quality management system that would automate workflows, reduce cycle times and consolidate quality data without costly custom coding.

ISP implemented Sparta Systems’ TrackWise across multiple sites, re‑engineered workflows and deployed StateMachine and Coordinator rules to automate OOS handling, CAPAs, notifications and escalations. The system went live rapidly, expanded to ten process areas and cut batch record review time by an average of four business days while reducing investigation cycle times, improving visibility with dashboards and reports, and enabling a self‑sufficient support team—delivering a harmonized, faster and more compliant quality operation.
