SGS Group’s Life Sciences division—a global testing and laboratory network within a 94,000-employee inspection, verification, testing, and certification firm—faced a heavy, document-centric quality environment across 17 labs. More than 25,000 SOPs, forms, and reports created transcription risk, slowed workflows, and conflicted with sustainability and regulatory expectations; the OneVision program set out to digitize LIMS, add ELN/LES capabilities, and move QMS/DMS/TMS processes to automated electronic workflows.
