FCCI Insurance Group, a mutually held commercial property and casualty insurer with 501–1,000 employees, was expanding beyond the Southeast U.S. and struggling with time-zone coordination, candidate travel and lengthy phone-screening processes. Recruiters were spending 30–45 minutes per phone screen plus follow-up debriefs, creating delays and unnecessary costs — they needed a cost-efficient way to screen candidates before involving hiring managers.
FCCI implemented Spark Hire’s video interviewing and scheduling tools, using templated invites and recorded interviews that hiring managers could review on demand. The platform eliminated back-and-forth scheduling, replaced many phone screens with quick video reviews, cut screening time from about an hour to roughly 10 minutes total, improved collaboration across managers, sped time-to-fill, and proved popular enough to warrant upgrading their plan.
