Yanfeng, a leading global automotive supplier, faced a significant challenge with inefficient spare parts management across its 13 EMEA plants. Each location operated with its own systems, leading to an unclean material master filled with duplicates and inconsistencies, which caused high costs and a lack of visibility into available inventory. This prompted them to begin a collaboration with SPARETECH to find a solution.

SPARETECH implemented its Software-as-a-Service solution to create a unified, central spare parts material master. The vendor's platform integrated with Yanfeng's ERP system to clean existing data and prevent new inconsistencies. This resulted in the enrichment of over 24,000 data records and the removal of more than 7,700 duplicate material numbers, significantly increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort and costs for the customer.
