Saint Gervasi School Saved 18% Thanks to Top Energy Analytics Technology

Sant Gervasi Cooperative School, a cooperative educational institution in Mollet de Vallès, Spain, wanted to reduce rising energy costs without investing immediately in new facilities. The school partnered with Spacewell Energy and its DEXMA Platform, along with energy consultant Tarpuna, to engage students, teachers, and staff in a community-wide energy efficiency initiative.

Spacewell Energy supported “Project Unplugged” by using the DEXMA Platform for real-time monitoring, tracking consumption, and guiding operational and awareness-based improvements. The school reduced energy use by 18.6%, saving about €12,000 per year and cutting 72,500 kWh, with a reported ROI of just 7.2 months on a €7,200 investment.
