Grupo 3E - Energy Consultant worked with Comansa, a tower crane manufacturer with production plants in Spain, to gain total control over rising energy costs and better understand consumption across its factories. Using Spacewell Energy (Dexma), they aimed to monitor major meters and production lines to identify savings opportunities and energy performance indicators.

Spacewell Energy implemented its monitoring platform to centralize and analyze electricity, gas, water, photovoltaic, and other operational data, helping Comansa detect waste and apply efficiency measures such as variable speed drives, LED lighting, solar self-consumption, and timers. The result was 74% consolidated energy savings, cutting annual consumption from about 10,834,580 kWh to 2,899,000 kWh and generating €2,276,934 in total financial savings, or nearly €200,000 per year.
