Fundación Francisco Godia, the cultural foundation behind one of Spain’s largest private art collections, needed to cut energy use in its Barcelona museum without affecting the temperature and humidity needed to preserve artworks. Working with Spacewell Energy, the foundation sought a low-investment way to better manage its electricity costs, which were about €85,000 a year.

Spacewell Energy implemented the DEXMA Platform with electricity meters on the main supply, HVAC, and lighting systems, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis from the first month. As a result, Fundación Francisco Godia reduced consolidated energy consumption by 29%, saved nearly €25,000 annually, and cut about 170,000 kWh while maintaining museum conditions.
