CAIXABANK, Spain’s leading bank with more than 30,000 employees and over 13 million customers, tasked its CaixaBank Facilities Management with improving comfort, cutting energy use and reducing maintenance incidents across 4,000+ buildings. To meet these goals they partnered with DEXMA (By Spacewell), deploying DEXMA Detect, DEXMA Analyse and DEXMA Energy Services to identify savings opportunities, monitor consumption in real time and enable remote control and analytics.

DEXMA implemented an AI-driven detection and EMS solution that prioritized high‑saving sites, automated power optimisation for 2,000+ supplies and integrated remote control (via Niagara), while a dedicated services team drove awareness to ~25,000 staff. The DEXMA (By Spacewell) project delivered +170 Energy Conservation Measures implemented (57% executed remotely), significant energy savings in the first 18 months, analytics across 4,000+ installations and proactive dashboards — with DEXMA continuing to roll out DEXMA Optimise for 24/7 automated inefficiency detection.
